Trying not to freak out.
Just found out yesterday when I went to pick up the kids, that one of the families there is on a trip to MEXICO!!!! Swine Flu is spreading rampantly and now it may be right under our nose. So I have emailed Tina to find out what precautions she is taking to protect my kids and the rest of those children. I did tell her some businesses are not allowing workers to return for seven days and must with a clean bill of health. I just hope we can get through the end of the year without this thing infesting our schools. Just one more reason we need to close the border!!! So many of the kids that I teach have family members who travel back and forth to Mexico frequently. This is so scary.

Memories...
Today is the day Libby was due five years ago. It is hard to believe that my baby will be starting kindergarten come August. Little did I know, what a character my first born would be. She is so charismatic, fun, and makes Stephen and I laugh constantly. And she is also a bull in a china shop when she wants to be. Her preschool teacher said and wrote at her end of the year conference, "Libby gets an A+ in Social Skills. Everyone wants to be her friend and do centers with her." I am so proud that she is mine!
When it rains, it pours
Two cars in the shop. Wow! I guess this is what happens when both of them are 10 or more years old. So frustrating!
And this on top of trying to get ready for Libby's party on Sunday. The forecast calls for thunderstorms. Please God don't let it rain....I don't have a plan B. Libby told me today, "I'm really excited about my party at the park."
